After a successful ramp-up, Duet Enterprise Feature Pack 1 (FP1) is now generally available. FP1 helps companies simplify and accelerate the modeling of business objects while exposing them in SharePoint via the enhanced design time tools and utilities.

In addition, FP1 assists in leveraging enhancements from SAP NetWeaver Gateway within Duet Enterprise (such as improved design time). It also offers templates and building blocks for quicker data binding and user interface creation in SharePoint and Office.

Capgemini recently announced that it has re-launched its ERP+ solution portfolio and created a dedicated development center to build customized business packages running on Duet Enterprise.

GT Advanced Technologies, a global supplier of polysilicon production technology and crystalline growth systems for the solar and LED markets, is taking advantage of this center to leverage Duet Enterprise's interoperability and offer executives and mobile users the ability to review and approve purchase orders while on the go.
