January - March 2012 – A Launch Pad for Collaboration and Development

November 21 2011 – Capgemini invests in Duet Enterprise through new ERP+ solution

Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, has re-launched its ERP+ solution portfolio and created a dedicated development center in support of Duet Enterprise software. Located in Mumbai, India, the engineers at the center will help build IP sector and industry solutions in the form of business packages, tailored to clients' specific needs to run on the Duet Enterprise platform. Through these custom-made business packages, Capgemini aims to help customers drive sales productivity, develop market opportunities, streamline processes and reduce costs by extending and leveraging SAP applications through Microsoft SharePoint 2010.

September 6 2011 – Introducing the Duet Enterprise Thought Leadership Series

We are pleased to launch our Thought Leadership Series, a monthly installment featuring interviews with Duet Enterprise experts, partners, customers, and developers who will share with us their insights and experiences with Duet Enterprise. To start the Series, we interviewed Himanshu Pande, Duet Enterprise Solution Manager at SAP, who shared with us practical recommendations and best practices for a successful Duet Enterprise project implementation.

June 28 2011 – SAP turns to its partners for help improving its UIs

SAP is working closely with its network of partners and vendors to make applications easier for customers to use. The company wants to allow users to operate in the environment they are most comfortable working in. For example, the recently launched Duet Enterprise is a software designed to give users access to SAP systems through Microsoft SharePoint.

June 15 2011 – Gartner: SAP Duet Enterprise brings ERP 'to the people'

Duet Enterprise allows users to access SAP applications through Microsoft SharePoint offering customers an interface they're familiar with. The solution allows companies to create scenarios based on their specific needs. In addition, Gartner recommends that users create pace layers so they can support faster development cycles (two to four weeks).

February 1 2011 – SAP and Microsoft Announce Availability of Duet® Enterprise, Launch Joint Partner Program

SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) and Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq "MSFT") executives today announced general availability of Duet Enterprise software, their joint product, and showcased early customer and partner adoption. In addition, SAP and Microsoft launched the new SAP-MICROSOFT Unite Partner Connection program. President of Microsoft Office Division Kurt DelBene and SAP Executive Board Member Vishal Sikka kicked off the Duet Enterprise Virtual Launch Summit by detailing how the companies' combined software strategies provide greater value and business potential for their mutual customers and partners.

December 1 2010 – Duet Enterprise is generally available, see announcement

Today we have achieved a major development milestone of our jointly developed product, Duet Enterprise for Microsoft SharePoint and SAP, with its general availability scheduled for later this week. Microsoft and SAP have been working hard to bring this product to market and to make sure our early customers are highly satisfied. November 8 2010 – Will SAP and SharePoint integration in Duet Enterprise be a hit?

Duet Enterprise is a completely new product that leverages new technology, and both vendors are hopeful it can overcome the setbacks of those first releases. It will expose the SAP back end through the SharePoint front end using a technology called Gateway. And early indications are that users are excited about it.
