Pascal Gibert is director of product management for Office Business Applications (OBA) solutions, including Duet for Microsoft Office and SAP. The result of a groundbreaking collaboration between SAP and Microsoft, Duet is the first joint product created by these two industry leaders and it is designed to revolutionize how information workers interact with SAP enterprise applications. In his role, Pascal is responsible for product planning, product marketing, field and partner enablement and readiness, and business development. Before coming to Microsoft, Pascal held several director of product management positions at Oracle France and Oracle US, where he was responsible for the Oracle application development tools and later, the Oracle Portal offering. Prior to joining Oracle, Pascal was the curriculum manager and the developer manager for a French university, specializing in computer sciences, artificial intelligence, and software development.
Byron Banks is the senior director of solution marketing at SAP North America. Byron has more than 15 years experience in the software industry, specializing in enterprise applications. As he currently leads the SAP product marketing team responsible for Duet, Byron's responsibilities include analyzing the market trends and defining solutions that serve the needs of the information worker.
